Monsignor Farrell's 4x800-meter relay led an East Coast invasion in the Arcadia Invitational, dubbed the best track and field meet in the nation, held Friday night at Arcadia HS.

Carbonella pulled up on Warwick's Jerry Greenlaw before the 600, but then bolted by him in the last 100 meters. The senior was not challenged to the finish line, stopping the clock with a 1:58.1 carry.

Carbonella was the indoor CHSAA Intersectional 1,000 champion with a nationally ranked mark of 2:31.75.
