A standout athlete from Notre Dame Academy died mysteriously in her Staten Island home Wednesday.

Arielle Newman, 17, was pronounced dead by emergency responders after she was found unconscious in her bedroom.

All of us at NYTrack mourn her loss. We extend our sympathy to her family and friends.
